Hello, all. I’m realizing that if this site is going to be picking up more traffic, I need to be better about sharing updates when they happen. Oops.
At the beginning of February, I wrote a post for the National Alliance Women’s blog. Technically, I actually wrote it back in October, but it was published in February. You get the idea. Anyway, I wrote about just one aspect of what it means when the Bible calls us “jars of clay,” and what that reveals about God’s intentions for us. You can find that post here.
Since we’re here, I’ll also announce that I’ve been asked to share some of my testimony at the Northeastern District Alliance Women’s 2026 Spring Refresh Conference, which will take place at the end of April. I’m really excited to have this opportunity, but I’m also nervous. I’m not skilled at or comfortable with public speaking (even after two classes on it!). But I’m doing it anyway, because it’s not about me- it’s about God. If the day comes and I’m shaking, then I’ll do it shaking. If I’m scared, I’ll do it scared. I have decided that I will obey, even when I don’t like it, because He’s worth it.
Having said all that, I would appreciate prayer for my short time on stage. Please pray for God’s peace and calm to come upon me before, during, and after I speak. Pray that my words are the right words according to His intentions and works, that I honor and glorify Him, and that I am a blessing to the women who listen to me. And finally, please pray that I am comforted by the Holy Spirit after I sit back down and am not vexed with overanalyzing or racing thoughts. I’m doing this for Him, but I want to do it well for Him if I can.
I’ve touched lightly on a few things here that I’d love to write about in more detail, but that’s not the point of this post, so I’ll save it for another time.
Until then, may God bless you all.
Let me know you’re praying for me by commenting below, and share this post to get the word out!
